Wilson Medical Center is pleased to have welcomed Dr. Christopher Gal to its medical staff last month. Dr. Gal is practicing with Mamun Shahrier, MD, and Brittany Fulghum, AGNP-C, at Wilson Gastroenterology.
Dr. Gal received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and was Chief Medical Resident in the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Gal recently completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Norwalk Hospital/Yale School of Medicine in Norwalk, CT.
He specializes in liver disease, ulcerative colitis, colonoscopy, abdominal pain, Crohn’s disease, capsule endoscopy, heartburn and upper endoscopy.
