Having to wear our full PPE all day long is quite aggravating. Its no fun at all. It is literally a killer but we are healthcare professionals who always have to put Safety first before anything else, not only for us but for our valued patients as well. We are at a high risk because of our direct exposure to the patients, but nonetheless we have to protect ourselves as well. With all the sanitation protocol we implement mandatorily, temperature check not only for patients but for all staff as well, the hepa filtration and ionizer we have in the waiting room and in every treatment room, the fogging machine with hypochlorous acid we spray almost every hour, this is our new normal. Because we care for our staff and our patients. But please follow our protocol as well. Let us know if you are not feeling well so we can just reschedule your appointment at a later date. Our pre-screening is very important. We can all do this together 🙏

While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same at CHULA VISTA DENTAL ARTS: our commitment to your SAFETY.
INFECTION CONTROL has always been a top priority in our practice, and you may have seen this during your visits in the past. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it is both safe and comfortable.
Our office follows infection control recommendations by the California and American Dental Association, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Please note that we will be using Protective Personal Equipment (PPE), N95 and KN95 masks, isolation gowns, face shields, Air Purifiers/Hepa Filters with UV-C, fogging machine to disinfect the rooms with HOCL, High-Vac suction systems to help protect everyone in the office. We have gone above and beyond ant recommendations put in place by the county and the state.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. We look forward to seeing you!
