Covanta Energy
Covanta Energy is a waste-to-energy company that incinerates waste to make electricity. The company handles 5% of America's waste, making enough energy to power every home in Philadelphia. As a result, the need for fossil fuels is reduced, saving the equivalent of 20 million barrels of oil each year.
