A Bricklayer will perform a variety of tasks that aid in both the completion and success of a project and the assistance of team members. Duties would consist of demoing chimneys and/or porches, erecting scaffold, rebuilding of chimneys and/or porches, chimney brick replacement, tuck-pointing, and cleaning up job sites at the end of each workday.
Requirements:
Clean driving record
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding and work safely on roofs
Must have a good attitude and work well with others
Minimum of 2 years experience in the Masonry field. This is not an entry-level job.
An employee is required to have reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License- a valid CDL A is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Erect and break up scaffolding, ramps, etc. with attention to safety
Unload and carry materials at construction sites
Assist tradesmen in construction projects
Maintain cleanliness of job-site and truck
keep materials/tools on hand for mason
erect scaffolding
prepare & mix mortar/grout
cut brick/stone
Skills:
Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout, etc.)
Experience in operating equipment like trench rammers, drills, pneumatic hammers, etc.
Able to work in a team
You must have physical strength, endurance, and work well with your hands.
Being good in collaboration and following instructions and safety rules are important.

Experience:

CSIA and/or NFI Certification, as well as construction experience, is a big plus though not required immediately
Experience with Direct Vent Fireplaces, Ventless Fireplaces, Artificial Gas Logs
Experience with Natural Gas Piping a plus
Plumbing/Gas Line experience a plus
Proficient with voltmeters, reading wiring diagrams
Working knowledge of natural gas and propane combustion
