Clara Rivera, MD is a board-certified surgeon specializing in both plastic surgery and hand surgery. She provides a variety of services to her patients including skin cancer removal, body contouring, trigger finger treatment, carpal tunnel surgery, breast reduction procedures, treatment for hand/wrist fractures, tummy tucks, and the removal of ganglion cysts. Dr. Rivera attended San Juan Bautista School of Medicine where she eventually received her medical degree in 1980. She completed two internships at Lincoln Hospital, the first in 1980 and the second in 1982. In 1985, Dr. Rivera completed her residency at Hurley Med Center. She also completed two Fellowships, the first at Carter's Med College in 1992. She completed her second Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Rochester in 1994, and she continues to maintain her board certifications by completing continuing education classes in her areas of specialization.
