Clark Animal Care Center celebrates 25 years of accreditation Clark Animal Care Center is earning recognition for practicing the gold standard of veterinary medicine for 25 consecutive years. Since 1995, Clark Animal Care Center has voluntarily submitted itself to the American Animal Hospital Association’s (AAHA) Standards of Accreditation. Achieving accreditation by AAHA is an important milestone to delivering quality pet care. “Congratulations to Clark Animal Care Center on their 25th anniversary of being accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association!” said Janice L. Trumpeter, DVM, AAHA Deputy Chief Executive Officer. “Not every veterinary practice is accredited by AAHA; choosing to be AAHA accredited and maintaining that for a quarter century demonstrates true commitment to veterinary excellence by the entire practice team.” Accreditation is voluntary and only about 15% of animal hospitals in the US and Canada choose to undergo AAHA’s rigorous evaluation to become AAHA accredited. Nearly 60 percent of the pet-owning public believes their veterinary hospital is accredited when it is not. AAHA is the only organization in the US and Canada that accredits companion animal hospitals based on standards that go above and beyond state and provincial regulations. Only the top small animal hospitals in the United States and Canada have achieved accreditation by the Association. To maintain accredited status, Clark Animal Care Center must continue to be evaluated regularly by AAHA. Clark Animal Care Center was recognized for its achievement during the AAHA conference, Connexity, held virtually for the first time on October 1. For more information about accreditation, visit aaha.org.

😂 Happy Halloween 🎃 👻 Duluth Animal Hospital October 30 at 11:32 AM · When Pumpkin’s owner couldn’t find her key, she was concerned Pumpkin might have accidentally swallowed it. X-Rays were taken, and then Pumpkin was rushed into surgery with Dr. Diehl and Dr. Holson to remove the metal from his abdomen. Surgery went great, and Pumpkin is now already on the road to recovery! 🎃😁

Please take a minute to read the reasoning behind why we continue to operate curbside. We would love nothing more than to be able to practice medicine like we did pre-Covid. However, we have elected to maintain curbside protocols until we feel we can safely open to the public. We thank you for your patience and understanding as our goal is to continue to practice medicine safely for all parties involved.
We will be closed from 12pm - 2pm today. 🐾
