Meet our #PetoftheMonth, Charli!
Charli is a 6-year-old girl who was surrendered when her family was no longer able to keep her. She is very friendly and playful with people but was attacked by another dog when she was younger and is still scared of them. She would thrive best in a home without children above the age of 12. Let’s help her find her forever family! Learn more about her and other adoptable animals here.

Meet our #PetoftheMonth, Horchata!
This sweet girl was found with 63 other dogs in deplorable conditions. She went to foster with her puppies and did a wonderful job raising them. They have all been adopted and now it is her turn!
Horchata is a very timid and nervous girl. She is still working on house training and sometimes hides in her crate to feel more comfortable. She does best when another confident dog is around to show her the way. Let’s help Horchata find her forever home!

Do stores really track down shoplifters?
Yes! As much as $13 billion worth of goods are stolen from retailers every year.
Many retailers and small businesses work hard to track down shoplifters. Surveillance cameras and security cameras are only a couple of ways stores find shoplifters.

It’s #FAQFriday! Today our question is - Why am I being charged twice for the same shoplifting offense?
It is common for stores to hire a civil attorney to send you a notice asking you to pay a civil penalty. The notice cannot be ignored. However, paying the fee may prove unnecessary and may be harmful to your criminal case. Learn more here:
