Hard to believe it’s Memorial Day this Weekend. That means summer hours start.
We are open for walk in painting and you can still pick up projects to go.
We have limited our seating to allow for social distancing and are disinfecting everyday.

Tuesday-Saturday Noon-6pm
Project pick up and last seating is 5pm.
If there are no painters in the studio at 5pm we will close for the day.

We are happy to announce that we will be opening back up next week. We are taking a few days to get the studio and employees ready to take care of our customers during this unchartered time.
The goal is to keep everyone healthy so we will be practicing social distancing. We have removed half of our seating in the studio and the tables are 6 feet apart. So seating is limited. We will be disinfecting daily and as needed. There will also be some changes to our painting practices.
Please do not come to the studio if you are experiencing any COVID19 symptoms. Come back when you’re feeling better.

Gnomes of all kinds have made their home at the store. Come paint your family gnome style on a board or paint one of the many pottery pieces available. All tables are socially distancing themselves, and there is always the option for taking pottery to-go!
In these uncertain times, you can count on needing entertainment during the cold months ahead! Also, the holidays are coming. We have you covered even if you don’t want to create wearing a mask.

Traditions.
Every year for the last {5} years my mom and I would go and paint Christmas ornaments at Clay Your Way. She was so creative, and loved painting every little detail. It caused me to stop, and enjoy the little moments during my busiest time of the year. Sometimes I know it took it for granted. But those ornaments now bring me so much comfort and joy.
Today I needed something therapeutic, and Lydia needed some mom time. It’s been a very hard week for her too. So we went, and we painted. It was calming, and we talked about grandma.
We talked about what traditions means, and why they are important. We talked about how much we missed her. We had fun.
It was good.
Thank you to all those who have bravely fought for our freedom; past and present, living and dead, and to all of their family and friends who support them.
Have you ever checked out our “messy room”? We have an entire room devoted to splattering paint - mostly on canvases (which come in 8x10, 12x12, and 16x30), but you can use the pottery paint and add some flare to your bisque projects too!
We do have suits, hair nets, and other protective gear, and the paint is washable, but it is always a good idea to wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty - just in case.
Appointments are taken for the splatter room, but walk-ins are welcome too. Plan for a half hour in the room plus extra to prepare your canvas if you want to add color or details first.
Looking for something to do this weekend or next week when the kids have an extra day off from school? Come check out our large selection of pottery items that are ready to paint! As always, all pottery can be painted in store or taken to-go and painted at home. This is a great time to start thinking about getting some Christmas presents painted for those extra special people in your life.

New this Christmas - your choice of three plates designs. The quickest of projects. All you need to do is add your kid(s)’ hand or footprint and we’ll take care of the rest. These are a great option for those tricky to shop for grandparents! Bring your kids in or take the project home to get the prints made and come back to pick up the finished master piece a week after you have left it with us!
Note: these are the only designs and plate styles we are offering this on. Anything else will need to be painted yourself as a regular project.
Believe it or not, but we are just TWO short weeks away from Christmas Day!
If you have taken a project to-go and are hoping to have it for a Christmas present you need to bring it in for us to fire by next Friday, December 18th. Please bring back any left over paints and brushes when you bring in your projects.
While rushing to get your shopping done in the upcoming days, don’t forget to stop by and pick out some projects to create at home while the kids are off from school!

Yay for new holiday items now on the shelves! Gone are the Halloween and Christmas items with Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter things in their place.
Looking to spread a little love this season? We’ve put together another to-go kit, just in time for Valentine’s Day. For $17 you get your choice between this bowl, plate or mug (no substitutions), the paints (red, pink, white and black) and brushes. Projects will be fired after you bring them back completed and are ready to pick up a week later.
This could be a great boredom buster next Monday when the kiddos are home from school for an extra long weekend.
I’m sure someone out there needs to hear this today.
We are closed today, but are open the rest of the week if you need a little time out of the house or to maybe stop by and pick up one of our many projects to-go to have a little creative time at home! You can even get one of these to make it your own or check out the new gnome mugs we got in stock!
There’s still time to get your Valentine’s Day to-go kit. If hearts aren’t your style we have many other options including our new paint your own necklace bead sets.
Included in the necklace kits are a random selection of plain clay beads - ready to paint with the included acrylic paints (red, blue, yellow, black and white with a mixing guide), a lace for stringing, misc beads, toothpicks for making dots, paint brushes, and pipe cleaners to aid in the painting process. These kits are $14 each or two for $25 and would make a great Valentine’s Day gift or Easter basket stuffers!
We’ve been busy restocking the shelves and have lots of new items. (Picture represents just a small portion of the fun new projects we have in store!) We will be open this Monday, February 15th for President’s Day from Noon until 5pm so you can use this extra day to stop by and check them out - either to paint in store or for an at home project to keep those kiddos busy!

Reminder: we don’t call when your items are done; they are available for pick up a week after you painted them/dropped them off at the store. So if you have painted recently don’t forget to swing by Tuesday-Friday from noon-6pm, Saturday 11am-5pm, or Sunday noon-4pm.
The Clay Your Way Easter bunny has put together some crafty to go baskets. They come with everything you need to paint four bisque eggs, a bit of chocolate, and coloring fun (puzzle and paper basket) $20 each.
Note: If you use the provided paint, the eggs will be to be returned to the store to be fired in the kiln. They could also be painted with acrylic paint if you prefer and have the paint.
We are looking for another awesome person to join us part-time nights and weekends.

Time is springing forward quickly and it won’t be long before Easter is upon us! We still have some of our Easter egg to go baskets left, but you’ll want to stop by and get yours soon so you have plenty of time to get them back before Easter. (Reminder, all items are ready for pickup one week they are completed and left with us at the store. No matter where they are painted)
