Why Are We Closed?
Dear Friends And Customers,
As a plumbing company specializing in water treatment, we are on the first line of defense (in a NON heroic way) to prevent health related issues with water. Plumbing and water treatment combined have prevented and will continue to prevent waterborne deadly diseases and exposure to other illness inducing compounds (man made and natural). I can say without reserve that the plumbing water treatment field has saved more lives than anything ever implemented, but only as a first line.
Our technicians visit many homes in a day and our concern is that we ourselves could become an infectious disease vector by catching or contacting Covid19 in one home and inadvertently bringing it with us on our persons, or worse, in our persons, to many more homes as the days go by. This could only be prevented while visiting you if we could find a way to suit up like a surgeon at every home we visit, and this is not practical. Therefore, for now, we will not be doing any in home work unless it is related to health issues. Health issues include changing UV bulbs on water sanitation systems or sanitizing wells with chlorine due to a positive test for e-coli and coliform, or other infectious disease.
By preventing and slowing the spread of Covid19, we will lessen the burden on the second line of defense for infectious diseases, THE TRUE HEROES, who are nurses, doctors, and those that staff medical centers and hospitals, including housekeeping, front desk workers, and of course, CNAs and therapists of all sorts.

We have little to no snow cover, so the ground is not insulated. The pipe leading from the city water OR from your well may not be deep enough to prevent it from freezing. On very cold nights, run a slow drip into a sink to help prevent freezing.
This also helps to prevent freezing in places inside the home where the pipes have frozen previously.
