Every year in Boulder Colorado, our community partner El Centro Amistad hosts the Women’s Summit Compañeras and the Youth Summit. This year it will take place September 17-19.
This event will celebrate the strength, resilience, and empowerment of youth and adult women in our community.
This event consists of two conferences running in parallel, the Youth Summit will take place with its own themes and speakers for middle and high school youth.
The theme of this year's Summit is Healing Justice: Compassion, Reflection, Action and will be virtual in response to COVID-19.

Last week, Clinica received a Quality Improvement Award (QIA) from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
The QIA recognize the highest performing health centers nationwide as well as those health centers that have made significant quality improvements from the previous year. We were recognized for our achievements in clinical quality improvement, receiving patient-centered medical home (PCMH) recognition, as well as advancing the use of health information technology.
We are honored to receive this recognition from HRSA.

Due to poor road conditions, Clinica Family Health is closed for the entire day. All appointments, including telehealth visits, are cancelled. Our partners at the Tri-County Health Department are hosting a COVID-19 Vaccine Town Hall on March 4 at 6:30 p.m. The discussion will be simultaneously translated into Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese and Russian. The event will also be closed captioned for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Clinica Family Health is partnering with Community Food Share for another free food distribution to support the struggling families in Boulder and Broomfield counties. The distribution will occur at our Lafayette clinic located at 1735 S. Public Road on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10am to noon (or until supplies last). Proof of need is not required. Remember to wear a mask, and stay well.
