It’s great to see when people care. Thank you! The Cazadero Tootie Smith for Oregon October 3 at 4:30 PM · The owner of the Cazadero Inn in Estacada serves three meals a day to wild fire victims and volunteers for free. He turned over his restaurant to the community rescue effort. He is paying his employees out of his own pocket to help cook and serve meals.

Sunrise or Sunset... what say you? This time of year our crew is working hard from Sunrise to Sunset! #clinkscalestoilets
A Thank You letter from Trent Clinkscales... I sincerely appreciate the accolades but I don’t feel like I was doing anything extraordinary. I was doing what so many people were doing during those stressful weeks, I was doing my small part. Many of us didn’t feel like we had as much to offer as the people who were directly fighting the fires, donating the use of their dozers, water trucks, excavators and their skills as operators and loggers. So we did what we could, be it traffic control, cooking meals, receiving and distributing donations, directing volunteers and delivering portable toilets and hand wash facilities. We needed to be involved, I needed to be involved. God bless my poor wife Lorry. When common sense would say run away from the fires, I was running toward them. Meanwhile she was coordinating the evacuation of our house and our business with the help of family. And she was always making sure I was taken care of. That I had food and water to take with me. I also need to thank SO many people who supported us during the fires. I don’t know if they want to be mentioned so I won’t but my dear friends opened up their home and property to us and our trucks and actually moving them for us. When the evacuation level got higher more friends helped us by coordinating places that would be safe for our trucks to go and moving them again. With the smoke ever increasing and making living in our RV unbearable, family in town where it was less smoky, welcomed us in and helped Lorry set up a makeshift office to start getting back to work. I also need to thank my crew, who I couldn’t have done all of this without. They were out there with me most days and sometimes late into the night, suffering in the smoke. So you see, we all did what we could….what we had to do to complete the task. To beat the monster. To win. I truly love our communities. Not only Molalla, where I grew up and continue to live, but Colton, Clarkes, Beavercreek, Estacada, Redland and so many more that are the home to the people who DO when it needs to be DONE. Trent
Here is a letter from Clackamas Fire District thanking Trent for his work with the fires as well as a thank you letter from his wife...#molallastrong Back in September when many of us were affected by the fires all around us. Evacuated from his own home and his business, Trent still kept working to make sure ODF, Clackamas Fire, Oregon State Fire Marshall, volunteers and many others that called in needed toilets for the fires. A couple times Trent didn't return back to our RV until almost midnight. I just received this letter today in the mail and couldn't be more proud of my husband. He is very dedicated to his customers and it shows
