Have you seen Kennesaw’s newest residents lining Main Street? During the month of October, over 60 scarecrows will line Main Street for the City’s inaugural Scarecrows on Main!
VOTING IS NOW OPEN! "Like" the image in the album below of your favorite scarecrow! The top three scarecrows will be awarded a “People’s Choice” award, and the scarecrow with the most likes will receive bragging rights, as well as a $100 prize. Second place will receive a $50 prize, and third place will receive a $25 prize.
Voting will be open through October 25. The winner will be announced the week of October 26.
Congratulations to you all. Great costumes!

Congratulations to our Virtual Dog Costume Contest winners! In first place is Lou as Chucky. In second place, we have Finney the Pug as a Puppaccino. In third place, is Sidney the Corgi/German Shepherd mix as Michael Jackson in the Thriller video. We loved seeing your dogs in their Halloween attire! Thank you to Clip N' Dip Pet Grooming Kennesaw Ga. for providing us with prizes for this contest! Winners can come by the Ben Robertson Community Center (2753 Watts Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30144) between 8:30 AM and 8:00 PM Monday through Friday to claim their prizes.

Rest in peace sweet girl......you've earned it.
Fancy passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on the morning of November 30th. She was born on July 6, 2003 in Robbinsville, NC to Sire Donnie DJ and Dam Cappucino CB. She found her forever home in September 2003 with Lonnie Simonds and DiAnn Smith-Simonds.
Fancy is survived by her human mama, human sister (Lori Simonds Anderson), human brother (Christopher Simonds), her kitty sister (Callie) and kitty brother (Merlin), human nieces and nephews and numerous Facebook Friends.
Special thank you goes to God for sharing Fancy with us. Special thanks to Dr. Phyllis Richardson and Rhonda at Suburban Vet Clinic for their special care through the years and to Honor my Pet for the final arrangements.
