Knox is a 60lb, 2 year old land seal that can be found basking (and snoring) in the Spring sunshine. He is happy to go for a nice long walk, or snuggle up on the sofa and have a book read to him. No joke, he fell asleep during The Lorax. He’s done well with dogs that are low-key like him who enjoy strolls and relaxation. I am ready to romp, wrestle, run and play with you and your family. Not to mention, I'm basically famous. I am this month's bArtic featured pet! This means that with my adoption, I will bring home my bArtic cooling shirt. The shirt protects me from over-heating in the summer. Yes, summer feels forever away, but with my black fur and thin coat, I am more prone to the UV rays of the sun. My new outfit will protect me from the sun and keep me cool throughout the day as we bask in the summer's sweet sunshine. Please take me with you on your next adventure, I've got the gear and the attitude to make it truly epic!

What’s better than a spelling bee? A talking dog! Jester the jokester is ready to brighten your day with a goofy spin and a one of a kind smile. Jester the 61 pound, quirky, 2 year old mix desperately wants to play with you and your resident dog! Jester arrived at HSC on January 19th from another shelter. In our care, Jester has done well during our doggie play group. You can even catch him sneaking kisses to his neighbor through the kennel fence. Consider coming down to HSC and meeting, Jester! You will love him just as much as we do!
Hey Club Fetch Family! It’s that time of the week again where we are sharing a sweet pup @humanecharlotte that is looking for his forever home. Please see a note below from @humanecharlotte Meet Dasher! Dasher is a 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. He arrived at HSC from another animal rescue organization on December 18th and has been patiently waiting for adoption ever since. He is a young dog with the desire to learn new tricks and skills. He would also make a great companion to dogs that like to play! He would love to romp, chase, explore, and play with you, so please share Dasher with your friends and family and help him find a home.
Hey guys! It’s that time of week again where we introduce you to a pup who is looking for a forever home! Below is an official introduction of this cutie pie @humanecharlotte Frosted Flake is a spunky 2 year old with tons and tons of personality! He enjoys tug of war, zoomies, walks in the park, and back scratches. Like many of the dogs here at Humane Society of Charlotte, Frosted Flake was transferred in from a partner animal rescue organization where he was available for adoption. His fun, young energy will make him a great companion to someone with an active lifestyle. Today, this guy met SANTA!! He was so excited he jumped right into his lap. We love him here at HSC, but we would love even more to see him head home soon. You can visit Frosted Flake at HSC between 11am and 5pm every day of the week!
