About

Coastal Craftsmen Construction is a construction firm in Fort Myers, Florida, specializing in custom home building and major renovations.

Our focus is to provide our clients a truly personal homebuilding experience from concept, to design, through construction, and after construction service.

Our goal is to make the construction process as transparent as possible, so you never feel like you are in the dark. We do this by providing constant communication throughout the construction build.

Our approach is fairly simple: Do whatever is in the best interest of the client, and refuse to do anything that is contrary to that principle. We consider ourselves your personal concierge through the whole construction process.

* We take a team approach in working with you, the design team, lenders and any other team members involved on your behalf.
* We provide constant communications throughout the construction build, keeping you and team members fully informed.
* We provide design review and budgeting services to ensure you keep within a working budget.
* We work with carefully selected subcontractors to provide the specific skills and materials needed for each project.

Our construction services include Pre-construction design services, pre-construction budgeting, full-time supervision, bid management program, open book accounting, complete scheduling services, and online project management system.

CUSTOM HOME BUILDING
With our concierge approach, we take on one home at a time to give your project the focused attention it takes to build the home of your dreams.

MAJOR RENOVATIONS
We perform large-scale renovation projects that feature many of the same services as new custom home building projects.

Working as a job site interior superintendent for multimillion-dollar construction companies, Wayne has helped oversee large-scale projects around the U.S., including construction for the Atlanta International Airport, Florida Department of Transportation, major national restaurant chains, and luxury hotels (Ritz Carlton and The Registry).

One of the custom home building trends we've seen in the past few years in Florida is the return of the dining room. A separate dining room can be a great use of space when building your home. While kitchens that double as eating spaces are convenient, more and more people seem to appreciate leaving the busy kitchen behind to enjoy a meal in the relative quiet of a dining room. In the custom home build below, we created a beautiful, cozy dining area—perfect for sharing a family meal.
