Completed leading a Wilderness First Aid and CPR/AED course this weekend for the leaders of Boy Scout Troop 5 Wake Forest. It was truly our pleasure to work with such a great group of people who wanted to be sure they were prepared in case of an emergency during one of their many meetings, hikes, camps, etc. -- that are often in remote areas far from emergency response personnel.

We are often asked about the application of ultrasound in the pre-hospital setting. This case study (link below) highlights one of the uses of Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) in the pre-hospital setting as well as real-time communication capabilities (via REACTS) between EMS providers and physicians.

We at Code Blue Resources are proud to welcome Paul “P.D.” Conley to our team (The Pack as well call it)!!!
P.D. lives in Kentucky and will cover TN, KY, WV and certain areas of VA. P.D. is a Nationally Registered Paramedic, a Critical Care Paramedic, a Certified Flight Paramedic as well as an AHA instructor and Level III Instructor/Evaluator for the KY Board of EMS. He started his career as a First Responder in law enforcement. Yes, P.D. has been there, done that (and got the T-shirt)!!! No doubt his experience will be beneficial as he assists customers with making decisions about their equipment purchases.
Please feel to reach out to P.D. if you would like more information on the Philips/RDT Tempus ALS Monitor/Defibrillator, the Philips Lumify POCUS or Philips AEDs. He can be reached by email at paul@codeblueresources.com or by mobile at (859) 608-0607.
It was indeed our pleasure at Code Blue Resources to work with New Garden Rescue on the purchase and implementation of their new Tempus ALS units! We look forward to the ongoing partnership with them.
Congratulations and “hats off” to them for being the FIRST in Virginia to implement this truly innovative technology that can adapt and change with the growth and evolution of EMS.
More implementations in VA and NC coming soon!!!

Our agency has been blessed in receiving a grant and help from our local businesses in purchasing the new Phillips tempus cardiac monitors. We are the first agency in the state of Virginia to put the monitors into service. Thank you to our friends at Code Blue LLC for our training sessions! Great group of guys with years of knowledge.
The Code Blue Team wishes everyone a safe and Happy Halloween -- and, of course, one filled with lip-licking treats!
It certainly is our treat to be of service to you for lifesaving equipment and supplies.
The Code Blue Team would like to thank Captain Daniel Glass and Dante Rescue Squad in Virginia for their recent purchase of the Tempus ALS solution for all units. Pictured is Dr. Paul Phillips (OMD) and Captain Glass practicing with the new equipment. Awesome to see a hands-on Medical Director taking part in training and education!

Code Blue would like to thank Captain Tommy Kitts and the Bland County Rescue Squad/EMS in Virginia (VA) for their recent purchase of the Tempus ALS solution. Our Clinical Team was onsite recently to conduct training and looks forward to providing ongoing support in the future.
An interesting fact about Bland County VA is that the tunnels on I-77 denote the County borders on the North and South, thus the tag line for the Squad – Serving the land between the tunnels since 1974!

From the entire Code Blue Team, we wish you a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year – one so bright you gotta wear shades!
We’d also like to say THANK YOU to all our amazing customers and manufacturer partners. We can’t begin to thank you enough for all your support and friendship this past year and can’t wait to partner with you in 2021.
Even though our beloved company mascots went to The Bridge 🌈 this year, they and the entire Code Blue Team send love and wishes for a safe and happy holiday season.
We also THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for your business and friendship this past year and we look forward to serving you in 2021!!!

Code Blue Resources updated their info in the about section.
Congratulations to Morehead City Fire/EMS on being the first system in North Carolina to implement the Philips/Rdt Tempus ALS!
The Tempus ALS system is a Philips Healthcare solution with deep roots in military special operations and the European space agencies. Tempus ALS is a connected pair of devices (an advanced patient monitor and professional defibrillator). The solution allows encrypted connections wirelessly to share data and transfer vitals, waveforms and images with hospitals while allowing better management of resources by emergency medical teams.
On behalf of all of us at Code Blue Resources, THANK YOU Morehead City Fire/EMS for letting us be part of your process to bring game-changing technology to the citizens of Morehead City, NC.

SC EMS Association - Symposium
This week we provided install training for the Tempus ALS at Roanoke Fire-EMS (RFEMS) in Roanoke VA. RFEMS is an internationally accredited agency, maintaining the coveted ISO 1 rating. RFEMS took a systematic and measured approach to evaluating all available solutions – ultimately selecting Tempus ALS as their new prehospital cardiac monitor/defibrillator. We are honored to work with such a well-trained and professional agency. We would also like to thank Chief Hoback, Battalion Chief Cady and Captain Crouch for their engagement and assistance throughout the selection and install process.
Welcome to the Tempus ALS family Roanoke Fire-EMS!
