We love our community! Sedona Community Food Bank December 9, 2019 at 2:23 PM · Boy, what a Thanksgiving it was! To quote our executive director: "Between last week and this week, we distributed 195 complete turkey meals. Additionally, on Monday evening, I drove out to a community off Loy Rd. in Cornville and distributed 60 complete turkey meals. The total of all four distributions, the food bank distributed 255 complete turkey meals to local families. This morning we assisted 121 families. "An angel came into the food bank this morning. The owner of Coffee Pot Restaurant, Emile, donated $4827.00!. This donation was collected last night at Coffee Pot Restaurant"s Annual Free Turkey Meal. Emile served over 600 meals in 3 hours! What a guy. [NOTE: later, Emile returned with an additional $500!] "Yay, to us. Yay, to the community. Yay, to our donors. Yay, to our clients." Thanks to all of you who made it happen!
We raised over $5,000 for the Sedona Food Bank and fed around 650 people at our 10th Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday! We are so thankful for our community and for everyone that attended. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
