If you are planning on applying to any Common App schools and have been impacted both personally and academically from the pandemic, you will have a place to share those impacts. This is also a good place to share any summer activities that were cancelled due to the pandemic.

Since everyone has been going nuts over this eye test, I tried putting a brown dot or a circle next to all the 3s. The correct answer is 24 but you could have said 26 if you are adding the 3 bars next to the sprint sign and the 3 WiFi bars. 😀😝
Eye test... how many 3’s do you see in this image?
News from our Director of College Counseling:
The University of California (UC) announced today that it will suspend the standardized test requirement and allow pass/fail grades for this winter, spring, and summer due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The dropping of these requirements for this upcoming year does not imply a permanent change – it is still up for debate for future years.
Fall 2021 applicants can still take the tests and send them to the UC’s if they are able to. However, UC campuses ensure that “no student is harmed in admissions selection should they not submit a test score.”
What about the California State University (CSU) system? They are currently reviewing whether to follow UC and adapt its admission process. A final decision should be made in the near future.
Both UC and CSU, however, will not require a letter grade for A-G courses taken in high school this year in winter, spring, or summer. They have acknowledged the difficulties with online instruction and want to ease anxiety with this process due to COVID-19.
Due to COVID19, check out how the UC system will modify Standardized testing (SAT/ACT) for the first time in history. I predicted this was going to happen last week on my webinar on how COVID19 is the best time to strategize getting into your dream college and make college affordable.
Below is the link to learn more. If you want to learn insider strategies on getting into college and make it affordable, go to my website and register to my virtual webinar. You don't want to miss the information if you have a 9th grader or older in high school.
