I am so excited to bring on one of our brand-new partners this morning! Kristen Dougherty is the Home Care Coordinator with Collier Home Care. Kristen's experience working for a local law firm groomed her for this position. She has a true passion for helping people and serving the community of Collier County. We are looking for a dynamic professional to help us grow the company. The position is On Call Staffing Coordinator. He/she would assist CHC in resolving emergency staffing issues and the intake of new clients part-time afterhours and on weekends. We think this is an excellent opportunity for the right person!
Responsibilities:
• Answer after hour and weekend telephone calls;
• Resolve client and caregiver emergency issues and immediate scheduling changes;
• Arrange for emergency substitute/back up caregiver coverage when necessary;
• Provide information about CHC service to prospective clients and caregivers;
• Match appropriate caregivers to new clients when the need is immediate;
• Update client files for events that occur afterhours;
• Email an On Call report the following morning to notify admin team of updates.
Requirements:
• Able to read, write and communicate in English. A good command of Spanish and French Creole is a plus!
• Prior On Call staffing experience (one year);
• Be organized and able to work independently with excellent customer service skills;
• Be able to resolve problems rapidly;
• Proficient in the use of computers and software programs. Experience with Clear Care a plus.

We are looking for a dynamic professional to help us grow the company. The position is General Manager. We think this is an excellent opportunity for the right person!
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the efficient and effective coordination and management of patient care and all aspects of the operation;
• Supervise CHC staff to achieve the highest level of team collaboration and growth of the institution;
• Ensure the recruitment of staff and independent contractors, retention, and training of CHC staff and associates;
• Supervise and assist in the assignment of caregivers to clients in order to optimize client satisfaction;
• Set standards for home care, responsiveness and hospitality excellence among employees and caregivers;
• Develop and implement strategic planning to achieve the most cost-effective, efficient levels of business operation, in collaboration with the CHC Administrator;
• Conduct assessments of clients, including updating of care plans and interpreting client needs, while adhering to Company, physician, and/or health facility procedures and policies.
• Participate in sales and marketing activities that promote the Company’s role as an effective provider of home care in SW FL;
• Coordinate weekly case conference meeting;
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations;
• Serve as Alternate Administrator in the absence of the Administrator;
• Serve as the Company’s RN and as the Company’s Safety Liaison.
Required qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing;
• Current Florida state license as a Registered Nurse;
• Complies with accepted professional standards and practice;
• At least two years of management experience in a home care, hospice or equivalent environment;
• Ability to maintain perspective in a fast-paced, results driven environment;
• Self-directing and independent with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
