Dr. Joe Colopy provides compassionate chiropractic care at Colopy Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Arlington, Texas. With a dedication to treating the whole person and serving families, he uncovers the underlying cause of the problem, then develops treatment that incorporates chiropractic techniques and physical therapy along with nutritional and lifestyle adjustments.
Dr. Colopy graduated from East Carolina University with dual degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in biology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy at Parker College of Chiropractic. During that time, he was included in the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Dr. Colopy trained for a year under Dr. Royston, DC, in his results-driven chiropractic office in Plano, Texas. He served as Director of Physical Medicine and Rehab under Dr. J. Kevin Kaufman, MD, a respected neurosurgeon in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Colopy knows the value of chiropractic care from personal experience. After a weightlifting injury, he suffered intense back pain that rendered him unable to do anything but lay on the floor. His visit to a chiropractor was life-changing, as all of his lower back pain was eliminated. That experience fueled his desire to provide similar services to others suffering from pain.
In his free time, Dr. Colopy likes to rock climb, mountain bike along local trails, work out, and spend time with his wonderful family. As a family, they enjoy being active and the outdoors, attending church, and vacationing. The whole family, of course, gets regular chiropractic care.
