Each day since the first week of school, gifted and talented students at Palmer Lake Elementary School have been choosing a colored piece of paper to fold into a paper crane. Each color reflects a specific mood. For example, green is calm and peaceful, blue is okay, orange is afraid, and yellow is anxious or worried.
Mrs. Nancy Roberts then adds the cranes to this display. This is a great visual for her class to see how they were feeling at the beginning of the year compared now. (The orange cranes reflect days that most students were testing). Wow! What a wonderful project. ❤️
