I am sharing this video to show how I use a fussy cut tool to cut the blocks needed for a new quilt sample. This tool helps to make the best use of prints like Charley Harper fabrics and is easy to read so you can see what your block will look like. Let me know if you have any questions.

If you have been following along with the Winter Frost sew-a-long from Moda Bake Shop, the final settings are posted. I was mistaken that all the blocks would be used so check out the settings if you are looking for guidance on what to do with your blocks. I am going to make the Marshmallows quilt and I have 2 blocks to make (yes, I did get a bit behind 🙂) to put it all together. I hope you all had fun with this. Here is a cute video from Art Gallery Fabrics with some great tips for beginner quilters (or reminders for those who have been quilting for a while).
A couple notes: Flatter is a great product and we have several scents in stock, including scent free!
She also demonstrates Frixion pens, but I encourage you to use these with caution. They were not originally designed for fabric use and because of that I do not recommend them for marking quilting lines or any other markings on a finished piece. Using them for drawing lines when making half-square triangles, flying geese, etc. is fine.
