Colwell Electric updated their info in the about section.
Remember about a year ago we introduced you to TING? It’s the little device you plug into one receptacle in your home that monitors for arching that can cause a fire. We received a call from TING monitoring last week telling us we needed to go into a home and find some issues that the device was picking up. The initial information showed an issue with the A/C circuit and that they were seeing a neutral issue that looked like it was coming from utility. The findings from our technician are as follows: - One A/C unit had a loose connection in the pull out disconnect that was arching - The other A/C had a nicked wire that was touching a sheet metal closure - GFCI receptacle ground was touching phase conductor - Confirmed there was a bad neutral in the underground feeding the residence Because of the TING device, the technician was able to identify and correct these hazards before they caused a fire. Protect your home and family with a TING device today. https://colwellelectric.com/ting-fire-safety/ #firesafety #electricalhazards #electricalfire
