Dr. Nouv was born and raised in Seattle, Wa. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Dr. Nouv spent several years working with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute doing research in human embryonic stem cells under the auspice of post-doctorate fellows. She then went onward to receive her doctorate degree at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland. She did her Residency at the Veterans Health Care System in Palo Alto, CA. She spent her residency at one of the five Level 1 VA Polytrauma centers. Here she saw and treated patients coming from overseas and on reserve with diverse pathologies from wound care to lower extremity injuries. In addition to doing her residency at the Veterans Hospital, Dr. Nouv did her rotations at Stanford Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente San Jose. In her free time, Dr. Nouv enjoys learning to cook Cambodian food and playing with her ceramics wheel. She is a runner and have participated in the Seattle half marathon as well as volunteered as a medic for the Nikes Women's marathon in San Francisco.
