The company was established in 1984 by Mark H. Johnson, who currently serves as President. Starting as a marine air conditioning and refrigeration service company, the company expanded into residential and commercial service and sales in 1989. This expansion was continued in the form of an Aire Serve franchise in 1994 and is relevant to some of the best practices the company utilizes today. In 1994 the Janmar Marine Co. and Aire Serve were combined as two divisions under Aire Serve Eastern Shore. In 1998 the company again became independent contractor divesting the Aire Serve franchise and merging the two divisions under Comfort Air Service. 1999 brought about the divestiture of the marine company so the focus could be brought to bear on the residential/commercial operations.
Our current location was also purchased in 1999. The company was incorporated in 2004. In 2006- 2007- 2008, the company became members of NCI and obtained certifications and training in air test and balance, carbon monoxide certification, and testing and combustion test certification. In 2008 the company joined the Nexstar Network, customer service focused contractors group. We offer FinancingThere's a lot about indoor air quality that you might not know and certainly can't see.
