Buehler's friends and family held a drive-by birthday bash to honor him Wednesday. We're told he was a B-17 pilot during World War II, including missions on D-Day, and later moved to Huntsville to work with Werner von Braun on the space program that sent a man to the moon, before teaching chemistry and retiring in Collierville.
