Whenever possible, use soap and water to thoroughly clean your hands.
If soap and water aren't available at the moment, hand sanitizer is still effective in killing germs.
We need your help.
As cases continue to rise across the country, there's a glimmer of hope with the highly anticipated COVID-19 vaccine.
The FDA will issue an Emergency Use Authorization if a vaccine has demonstrated clear and compelling effectiveness in a large, well-designed phase 3 clinical trial and has a high-potential to save many lives. We're confident in that the results are already bolstering a promising 95% effective rate at preventing COVID-19 for all adults.
With the possibility of a limited supply of one or more COVID-19 vaccines becoming available, accurate vaccine information is critical.
This will provide another level of protection for yourself and by doing so, another level of protection for your loved ones. We encourage you to join us in getting vaccinated when it becomes available
We understand there is a lot of information floating around right now. Throughout the next few days, we'll be covering some facts and further information regarding the vaccination on our social channels.
It takes all of us to stop the spread.
Do your part to help #StopTheSpread and follow these easy guidelines when washing your hands.

Winter wellness tip number four!
Your body needs fuel to operate at its fullest potential. Whether you're a meat eater or plant-based, protein is especially important in keeping our bodies active and healthy.
Treat your body kindly. You are what you eat, after all.
Winter wellness tip number three!
As naturally social beings, prolonged isolation can do a number on our overall wellbeing.
While it's hard to feel connected while keeping distant, there are still a number of ways to reach out and say hi to your loved ones.
Due to the severe health risks associated with COVID-19 and the fact that re-infection with COVID-19 is possible, people may be advised to get a COVID-19 vaccine even if they have been sick with COVID-19 before.
At this time, experts do not know how long someone is protected from getting sick again after recovering from COVID-19. The immunity someone gains from having an infection, called natural immunity, varies from person to person. Some early evidence suggests natural immunity may not last very long. We won’t know how long immunity produced by vaccination lasts until we have a vaccine and more data on how well it works.
Both natural immunity and vaccine-induced immunity are important aspects of COVID-19 that experts are trying to learn more about, and CDC will keep the public informed as new evidence becomes available.
Today Karen Hall-Thickman, Terrapins Divisional Vice President, joined the #TrueBlueHeroes at Bel Pre Healthcare Center in Silver Spring, Maryland as they received their vaccines.

Happy #WorldSleepDay! 😴 🛌 Getting quality sleep is important for both your physical and mental health.
Here are 5️⃣ sleep habits you should be incorporating into your routine to better your chances of getting a good night's sleep:
1. Keep a regular schedule—try to go to bed and wake up at the same time each day, including weekends.
2. Create a good sleep environment, including a comfortable room temperature, minimal noise and sufficient darkness.
3. Keep track of habits that help you fall asleep, like listening to relaxing music or reading before bed. Repeat those activities each night.
4. Avoid caffeine and nicotine three to four hours before going to bed.
5. Limit alcohol before bed, as it can reduce sleep quality.
