At Complete Restoration Services, you will be responsible for assisting the mitigation department with completion of projects in a professional and timely manner. This work can be very challenging, fun and rewarding. A good attitude, professional work practices and a desire to help people in need are requirements for this position.
Responsibilities:
Follow written procedures for emergency procedures.
Inspect property for water damage and develop a drying plan.
Extract water from flooded structures
Remove damaged materials such as needed
Setup of drying equipment
Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilizing DASH.
Ensure customer is satisfied and happy with the work performed
Ability to work do Mold Remediation, Demo, and Cleaning.
Requirements:
IICRC Certifications are a plus, but not required
Must have a flexible schedule and have the ability to handle emergency calls on a 24 –hour basis (rotating schedule).
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to completing multiple tasks.
Must be detail oriented and possess strong reading, writing and communication skills
Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and can pass background and drug test.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to adverse weather conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals. May also involve confined spaces that one must crawl through. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Additional Living Expense, ALE
ALE is included in most homeowners and renters policies. ALE covers the additional costs of living incurred by a policyholder should they be temporarily displaced from their home. This type of insurance covers expenses such as housing, laundry, furniture rentals, storage costs, pet boarding and food until the primary dwelling is inhabitable.
A residence is considered uninhabitable if it does not cover your basic needs. If a residence does not have one or many of the following working utilities such as heat, working bathrooms/kitchen/bedroom, electricity or water it will most likely be considered uninhabitable. During the rebuild many times homeowners and pets are displaced from their homes due to hardwood refinishing or odor removal treatments.

Insurance policies can be confusing.... Here are a couple of terms we see in the restoration world.
Actual Cash Value, ACV- The value of the property at the time of loss. The depreciated value (a decrease in the value of property due to age).
Replacement Cost, RC - The cost to replace the property at time of loss.
Why are these terms important?
Recoverable Depreciation - Insurance will hold back the depreciation until you have replaced the item. They may check by doing a visual inspection.
