Meet Dawn Bruni, MNSc, FNP-BC, ADM, an urgent care provider at our West Nashville urgent care clinic.
Dawn was born in Elmhurst, IL, and completed her graduate medical training at the University of Arkansas. She has more than 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care and cardiac care and even spent three years working at sea in marine medicine on cruise ships. Dawn relocated to Nashville in 2012 to be closer to family - she has three children and seven grandchildren. She loves to garden and cook and is an avid traveler - she has visited 37 countries!

Symptoms of the flu are very similar to symptoms of COVID-19, so quick testing to determine the source of infection is important. If determined appropriate by our medical providers, we can provide rapid flu testing at our curbside COVID visits, so you can know whether your symptoms are flu or COVID.
What does this mean for daily life? Wear your mask, keep your distance, wash your hands, sanitize hard surfaces (looking at you, grocery cart 🛒 & phone📱) & get your flu shot if you haven’t already.

From sourcing N95s from painters and contractors in February to initiating curbside COVID care & telemedicine in March to opening a second location in August and now working through the aftermath of damage to our Downtown location, our team has boldly stepped up to serve our Nashville neighbors and meet their healthcare needs. This is what we do.
But there has also been so much joy this year. CHP welcomed 4 babies to our team, and we celebrated from afar as Marisa got married! We found new ways to serve our community, and we aren’t looking back. We added the *most amazing* new team members and successfully made it through the the scary slow months without laying anyone off.
We can firmly say that trials of 2020 made us stronger, and we will use that strength to clean up our Downtown practice and continue our mission of providing exceptional care to our neighbors.
