I just wanted to post again today that as a medical facility WE ARE STILL OPEN for patient appointments during the Stay in Place order. In an effort to decrease the total number of people in our small office at one time, please call ahead if you wish to be seen if you are not already scheduled for an appointment. However, also due to the Stay in Place order by Governor and in an effort to protect our staff, we will be closed on our half days (Wednesday and Friday). Regular hours still apply to Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for the next two weeks or until the order is lifted.

Where does chiropractic care fit in when it comes to helping with COVID-19?
It's simple
One of the most common things people go to the ER for is back and neck pain. Right now, the hospitals and emergency rooms need to only be seeing people who have actual medical emergencies happening.
It is imperative that we not flood the medical centers dealing with the influx of patients due to effects of COVID-19 with patients whose condition does not require a visit to the ER for a few reasons.
1) Emergency rooms are not meant for treating pain, and their only options are usually pain meds and anti-inflammatories. Not saying these aren't ever necessary, but they shouldn't be the first line of defense.
2) We do not need more people congregating in small areas and exposing themselves to the virus if it is in, in fact, in the ER or Urgent Care.
So, if you haven't, now is the time to see a chiropractor for your back and neck pain. Not only is it the more effective thing to do, it's the more socially responsible thing to do right now.
We are open. We are available. We are skilled at the diagnosis and treatment of back, neck and joint/muscle pain. We have availability as some of our current patients may choose to distance themselves socially. We are able to space our patients out more both physically and time-wise. We offer affordable, effective treatment without the use of drugs or surgery to help our patients overcome their pain and thrive at home, work (even remotely) and play (when everything opens back up) 🙂.
