Double board-certified pediatrician and internist Marquisha Moore Jarmon, MD, provides exceptional care for patients from birth to senior care at her practice, Comprehensive Pediatrics and Internal Medicine in Hoover, Alabama. Dr. Jarmon believes in building partnerships with her patients that last for years, working together to ensure good health and positive outcomes.
Dr. Jarmon graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and Psychology. She completed her medical degree in 2003 at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis. She completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN.
Dr. Jarmon is certified by both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine. She’s a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
At Comprehensive Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, Dr. Jarmon provides a full range of primary care and pediatric services. This includes everything from routine vaccinations, screenings, and physicals to urgent care and sick visits. Dr. Jarmon is also skilled at managing long-term conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, hypercholesterolemia, chronic kidney disease, heart disease, COPD, asthma, eczema, ADD/ADHD, and many more. The practice also offers telemedicine and, in special circumstances, Dr. Jarmon does home visits.
Dr. Jarmon was born and raised in Birmingham, where she now lives and practices. She also attends the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church in Birmingham. When she’s not devoting herself to caring for patients at Comprehensive Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children.
