Warning: Shameless promotion follows! We suffered a lightning strike at our home this weekend, knocking out a transformer. We got great service from Mitchell EMC, and were only out 8 hours. This was the second time in three weeks our power was out. You know how it is in South GA in the summer, particularly when the water runs on electricity too. If you have medical and communication devices, power is important! If a transformer had not been available, we could have been out for days, just like after Hurricane Michael. On Saturday, Dec. 12, our father, Daniel Cook passed away at home, with family. Due to covid and in accordance with the wishes of family, there will be no funeral service immediately. A memorial service will be announced when travel and gathering is possible. Thank you for prayers, well wishes and understanding.
