Dear Community – We are so grateful for the offers everyone has made to us for so many things. We have promised that we would let you know if a need arose, and it has. For us to keep patients safe and allow limited visitors and employees to enter our buildings, we need to be able to screen them for temperatures. The safest way to do that is with a touchless thermometer. If you have an extra one you are willing to donate, please bring the thermometers to the security entrance at the Emergency Department on the University Boulevard side of DCH’s Tuscaloosa Campus. There will be a labeled box on a table by the door, supervised by our entrance security personnel.
The donated thermometers will sanitized and promptly put into use. Thank you so much for your generous donations!
