About

Through skilled physical therapy evaluation we are able to define the nature of the patient's dysfunction and intervene with skilled manual techniques and exercise prescription. Our goal is to not only eliminate the patient's pain but prevent it from returning in the future.

Spinal Rehabilitation:

Low back and neck pain are the most common dysfunctions keeping people from performing the daily, work, and recreational activities that make us who we are. One-on-one, hands on, individualized evaluation and intervention are key to diagnosing and treating the spine. Our approach to treating your spinal pain involves diagnosing what specific tissues or structures are injured, determining what has caused the injury, and implementing a stretching, mobilization, and exercise/stabilization routine to help restore normal function of the spine.

Common disorders of the spine that are treated include: degenerative disc disease (D.D.D.); disc bulges/herniations; osteoarthritis and degenerative joint disease (D.J.D.) of the spine; cervical and lumber sprains/strains; cervical headaches; cervical and lumber radiculopathy; and post-operative care.

Orthopedic Rehabilitation:

Sprains, strains, tendonitis, and fractures are, unfortunately, a part of life for most of us. Through early physical therapy intervention, you can prevent a simple injury from becoming a chronic problem. Our approach to treating common orthopedic injuries involves intervention, either immediate or delayed, to reduce acute or chronic pain and swelling, restoring normal mobility and flexibility of the injured joints or soft tissue, and exercise prescription aimed at increasing your functional strength to what it was before the injury.

Common orthopedic injuries that are treated include: osteoarthritis and degenerative joint disease (D.J.D.); ligament sprains; muscle strains; shoulder impingement syndrome; rotator cuff strains or tears; tendonitis; bursitis; patello-femoral syndrome; plantar fasciit
