We are excited to announce that we are seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist for Monday-Wednesday and Friday with potential to add another day in the future. Our growing general dentistry practice is located in the Bucktown/WickerPark neighborhood. If you are a hygienist dedicated to delivering high quality care and looking for a long-term position with a close-knit team, then this is the opportunity for you!
Candidates to be considered must have excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly/enthusiastic approach to providing gentle yet skilled dental care. Experience with Dentrix Ascend, digital imaging, and NO2 delivery is preferred but not necessary. Laser certification a plus!
*compensation based on experience
Requirements and Responsibilities:
· Minimum 1 yr experience in a clinical hygiene setting
· Current Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of IL
· Current CPR/BLS certification
· Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPPA privacy rules
· Perform periodontal probing and charting,prophylaxis, scaling and root planning
· Digital imaging and xrays
· Oral hygiene instruction and patient education
· Setting up recall appointments
· Sterilization of instruments
· Assist other team members as needed
Our office is a patient focused practice with state-of-the-art technology to help provide quality care and an exceptional experience. We've also implemented several safety measures including a central air purifier on our HVAC unit, HEPA filtration units in each treatment room, invested in advanced disinfection solutions to clean treatment rooms in between patients, and updated PPE.
