With rising concerns regarding COVID-19 we want to express our priority to ensure the safety and well being of our employees and patients.
⠀
We have always been highly focused on maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Emphasizing proper hygiene and following the strict guidelines set up by the health department has always been a top priority for us.
⠀
With that in mind, please be aware that we are continually taking proactive measures such as but not limited to the following:
⠀
Disinfecting the cash counters, credit card machines, keypads, store front entry handles, bathroom door handles and other commonly touched areas.
⠀
We always appreciate your business. We feel incredibly fortunate to have so many wonderful clients.

Cats+milk= myth.
⠀
Just like some humans, milk from cows can be difficult for cats to digest milk, which contains lactose.
⠀
When cats are born and are feeding off of their mother and their very early years.
⠀
Once their teeth come in, kittens will wean off their mother’s milk and begin eating food.
⠀
In some cases, cats might drink milk without properly digesting it, and it will stay in their intesties.
⠀
Milk types like whole, two percent and skim contains amounts of fat that can be unhealthy for your cat.
⠀
Our feline friends do not need milk for any nutrient benefits.
⠀
Stick to serving them good ol' H2O! 💧

Though not all nuts are toxic for dogs, it is better to keep them away from your pooch completely.
Many nuts and legumes are high in fat and can lead to your dog retaining water and other health issues.
Though peanuts and cashews that are unsalted are safe in very small amounts but are too high in fat to feed them regularly to your pet.
Again, though these nuts and legumes are non-toxic, it's recommended to reach for treats that are actually healthy for your dog. like safe fruits and veggies or vet approved treats.

Research shows blood pressure goes down when petting a dog, and so does the dog’s.

The holidays are right around the corner and we all want our pets to stay safe with the hustle and bustle of the festivities.
One way we can assure our pet's safety is by staying away from feeding them fat-filled, spicy leftovers.
Bones from food that humans eat can also be damaging, possibly puncturing them if chewed or swallowed.
If you don't want your furry friend to feel left out, provide them with vet-approved special treats or even a brand new chew toy! #WednesdayWisdom

A cat's tongue is their grooming tool.
The texture of our feline friend's tongue comes from little spines called papillae, which allow them to groom themselves, to catch fur, and remove it.
Studies have found that these spines are the same as those that tigers have!
How wild is that? #TongueOutTuesday
Our staff takes pride in assisting all of our patients with our wide range of vet services and ensuring they get the best care they need.
Ready to pounce into the weekend?
We hope you have a purr-fect one! #Caturday
Humans and cats have been friends for a long time!
Research shows that the first cats may have been domesticated by Ancient Egyptians around 4,000 years ago!
Egyptians would give cats the royal treatment, dressing them in real jewels and saw them as good luck!

February is National Pet Dental Health Month!
Oral diseases can affect your pet's overall health: pets may face infection, chronic pain and in severe cases, they can develop organ damage.
If you notice signs of red gums, yellow teeth, and stinky breath, make sure to make an appointment for your furry friend to make sure your pet's teeth are as healthy as can be! 🦷 🐕 🐈
