CARE during COVID-19
“Caring for people so they can be their best” has always been the heart of our message at the Courtyard Marriott in Blacksburg. Those words have never been more prevalent than they are today.
Below is a list of measures that we have implemented to CARE for our guests and our staff to ensure that our hotel remains a SAFE haven for us all.
Daily temperature checks for all staff upon arrival to work, documented in our Wellness Log
Face masks mandatory for all staff
Hand sanitizer available in public areas
Installation of Front Desk Plexiglas shield as a protective barrier
Sanitization of card reader/key pads between uses
Daily sanitization of Guest Key Cards
Elevator signage to encourage social distancing
EPA approved cleaning products in all areas
Public restrooms restricted to registered guest use only
Wiping down all “touchpoints” in public areas daily, such as: door handles, luggage carts, counters, etc.
Heightened sanitization on guest room “touchpoints” i.e. light switches, thermostats, blinds, etc.
Reduced and appropriately-spaced public area seating
24-hour allowance between occupied guest rooms*
Floor signage to designate social distancing areas
*dependent upon room type availability and occupancy levels
Covid-19 Update: The Courtyard Marriott in Blacksburg remains open to take care of visitors in our community. Our Bristro is currently open for breakfast only
between 6am to 9am. We offer a limited menu made to order for takeout only. Our hotel uses EPA approved cleaning products throughout our property for the safety of our guests and staff. Please adhere to social distancing of 6 feet or more while visiting our hotel. We wish everyone Good Health and Safe Travels.
