Why You Should Consider Logic Plumbing with PEX
Hmm...this isn't *quite* how this should look, lol.
This is what you get though, if you hire the wrong people to repipe your home! These unfortunate folks have already had 3 leaks in their new "system", and these pics show some of the reasons why. Besides the grossly misaligned joints and complete lack of support, the cold water supply here is undersized to supply one bathroom. It's supplying two.
This causes shower scalding and water hammer (banging in the wall), among other issues.
Don't comprehend all that? That's ok.
We do.

Floor mounted tub filler faucets in concrete slab houses pose some difficult hurdles during the construction process. We have plenty of experience with these and know how to clear those hurdles!

While as 25 year veteran Uponor professionals, we may take exception to some of the practices witnessed herein, this gives a great overview of why Cox Plumbing chose to hang our hats and reputation on this fine technology back in 1996, though the tech dates back to the late 60's.
Sadly, this doesn't address Uponor's vast superiority over the locally dominant product; CPVC, but time has borne out our concerns with that system, as we see aging CPVC failures with stunning regularity in our repair business; never mind its inherent inferiority from the start.
Well designed Uponor systems are quieter, cleaner, flow better, are more efficient thermally, and are less prone to failure than anything out there.
Ask your builder what's going inside your walls, and demand the best! If they don't already know...have them get a quote from us! It'll be worth it.
