If you are having issues with your device apps crashing today, the fix it below! This is a widespread issue and we have had 20+ customers call us today about it so I figured I would make a post about it.
This is an issue with Google Webview and Samsung is working with Google to try to resolve this issue. in the meantime:
Delete Webview app update- steps below.
1- Settings
2-Apps
3-Search Webview
4-Tap Android System Webview
5-Tap more (three vertical dots)
6- Uninstall updates.
If you are unable to search the Webview in Apps menu, please find the Chrome and tab more (three vertical dots) and uninstall the updates. I do not think this will work on the S7 and below sadly.
