This picture shows an antique card catalog cabinet, the old fashioned method of book references used by libraries. We custom made this crate to perfectly fit the dimensions of the cabinet so there was no space for movement during transit.

Inside are 2 very large (about 8’ by 7’), but lightweight, paintings that the customer insisted on being packed in a heavy corrugated picture box because they didn’t know how to deal with a wooden crate that size once received. Since there was no glass involved, the box held up and all the paintings arrived safely.
