What an exciting day this has been! When I drove to the gallery this morning (brrrr), there was a porcupine (yes that is right- on the sidewalk next to busy Nashua Street in Milford). Students came in after seeing him walking around the middle of our exit driveway. Some nice soul stopped and ever so gently guided him onto our grass where he has stayed all day in the sun. So cool since I’ve never seen one. Fish and Game are coming soon to help him. I’m not sure he’s walking right. Looks lopsided. Can’t wait to see what this officer can do! People are stopping to get a look at the guy, even driving around our parking lot twice in back to get a better look!
UPDATE- a neighbor got him/her into a tote with bananas and was waiting for the fish and game officer who I think arrived just after I left. The gal who got him into the tote thinks he had been hit which is what I suspected as well. He should be going to a rehab near by.

Very nice exhibits in various mediums by local artists - and what I like most are the opportunities for personal study, tutorials, etc., in small groups with excellent teachers, masters in their specialties, at very reasonable rates.
