The Health Department will be giving the Covid -19 vaccine starting on January 18, they are making appointments now, please read the information below to see if you qualify:
COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduling Hotline 1-855-566-5333
The hotline is for healthcare workers, people 75 years or older, and first responders, including law enforcement and firefighters to schedule an appointment for a free COVID-19 vaccination at local health departments. Telephone calls are answered from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. seven days a week. Specific information, such as what to bring and what to wear, will be provided when appointments are made. Appointments are made first come, first serve for persons within the targeted priority groups.

ADPH has launched an online portal for individuals to check their eligibility for vaccination and make appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations at county health departments. Read our full news release at go.usa.gov/xAtJc.
DCH is now offering the Covid 19 vaccine to individuals who are 65 years or older as well as those in phases 1a and 1b of the ADPH phasing. Vaccine appointments are normally available:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 6:20 p.m.

Alabama Public Health, Tuscaloosa County, Tuscaloosa County EMA, the City of Tuscaloosa and the City of Northport, Alabama - Government will provide a temporary drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination site at the Alabama Fire College on Shelton State’s campus Thursday, Feb. 18 to Sunday, Feb. 21.
As determined by the Alabama Department of Public Health, individuals eligible for the vaccine at this site are phases 1a, 1b, and individuals 65 and older.
