About

Crisis Services is dedicated to promoting the health, safety, and well being of the community through prevention, education, immediate intervention, and access to community wide resources 24 hours a day. Thanks to all of our golfers and sponsors, we had a successful tournament. The service was designed to fill the community's need of an innovative unit that would explore new methods of treating and assisting people in emotional crises through a variety of therapeutic services. It was to also provide training and educative programs in crisis intervention and have a comprehensive research program under girding the whole service. Crisis Services exists to fill the same needs today, but has adapted service delivery with respect to social needs and funding. Contact us today for more information!

Trauma can make it hard to put words to the pain we experience, especially for those of us who are Black, Brown, Disabled, LGBTQIA+ or otherwise “different.” Let's hold space for the role oppression plays in mental health. #TransformationTuesdays (Art by @agua_diente)
Oh, what a night!! #MenWhoCook Reimagined was a terrific success with our celebrity chef Dave Greber in the News 4 WIVB Buffalo kitchen making his perfect paella. 🥘 Not only did we meet our $25,000 goal for the evening, but we surpassed it! Thank you to Indepedent Health, FreedMaxick, UBMD Emergency Medicine, CWA Local 1122, Phillips Lytle, Pyramid Brokerage, Hodgson Russ, BestSelf Behavioral Health, Northeastern Appraisal Associates, BryLin, Transit Valley Country Club and our Crisis Services Board Members for your sponsorships during such an uncertain year. It was a delight to watch our hosts, CEO Jessica Pirro and BPD SVU Lt. David Mann, bring this event to our guests via Zoom. We gave away 22 terrific prizes ranging from $100-$2,000 — congrats to all of our lucky winners! 🎉 We had no idea how it all would go, but we pulled it off and had a ton of fun while doing it! While we couldn’t celebrate together, truly nothing can keep us apart. Until next year!🍴💻🍷 Dave Greber 17 hrs · Had a BLAST during this year’s Men Who Cook, which went virtual on Wednesday night. As last year’s champion, I was this year’s featured chef. And thanks to the generosity of WNY’ers, we exceeded the fundraising goal for Crisis Services! Great job everyone!
