TIME IS RUNNING OUT!!!
Tomorrow, we begin the last quarter of 2020.
That said, this is just a gentle reminder that time is running out to take advantage of any remaining dental benefits you might have access to for 2020.
Most dental insurance plans have an annual benefit limit that expires each December. This means that any benefit you are entitled to may soon be lost! Same thing applies for your Health Care Spending Accounts!

“Yes, It’s Safe To Go To The Dentist,” Insider States
Insider (9/18, Michelson) said, “Yes, it’s safe to go to the dentist.” The article explained that “there has been no evidence of coronavirus transmission in dental offices since many reopened in May,” and dental offices have safety precautions in place to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. “Our first job is to be sure that our patients are safe,” ADA President Chad P. Gehani told Insider. “If we did not think that the patients were safe, we simply would not go to the office at all. We would not have even done the emergency care in the months of March, April, and May.”

Some COVID-19 Survivors Reporting Tooth Loss, Discoloration, And More
The HuffPost (11/16, Ries) reports, “COVID-19 was once thought to mainly affect the lungs, but throughout the pandemic we’ve learned that’s certainly not the case.” Now, “anecdotal reports are surfacing that the infection may have an impact on oral health.” The article explains that “after being diagnosed with and recovering from COVID-19, people are sharing stories of how their teeth or gums weakened, with some saying that their teeth became discolored, broke or fell out.” Although it’s too soon to confirm a “well-established link between the coronavirus and oral health,” some “health experts suspect that the coronavirus may directly infect the blood vessels and disrupt blood flow to our gums, teeth and tongue, causing pain and decay.”
