John Ball with your Fit Tip Friday! Watch closely to John’s cues as he explains the Reverse Lunge with a Kettle Bell Pass-Through.
✅ Pick up KB by the outside of the handle (horn)
✅ With torso tall, step back with a long stride.
✅ Lower your back leg into a lunge keeping 90° with your front and back knees
✅ Chest up with a slight lean forward.
✅ Pass the kettle bell from your inner thigh to the opposite outside leg.
✅ Drive into your front leg to stand
✅ Switch legs and repeat!

Booking update ✅ Crossroads Fitness is currently updating the pre-class registration system for ROKbarre classes.
Please call Crossroads Fitness to reserve your spot for our classes, or feel free to walk in! We’ll keep you updated on how to register when the new system is running.

Ginger Glazed Grilled Salmon
.
Ingredients:
• 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons maple syrup
• 2 teaspoons minced fresh gingerroot
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 4 salmon fillets (6 0z. each)
.
Directions:
• For glaze, mix first 4 ingredients
• Place salmon on an oiled grill rack over medium heat, skin side up. Grill, covered, until fish just begins to flake easily with a fork, 4-5 minutes preside; brush top with half of the glaze after turner. Brush with remaining glaze before serving.
• OR - You may bake these fillets in oven at 450 degrees for 18 minutes, basting occasionally.
Makes 4 servings

Fit Tip Friday from Crossroads head trainer Bobby Brown!
Interval training is a fantastic way to get more out of your workouts and can be done with nearly any exercise.
✅ Start with a 1:3 ratio. That’s one minute of hard work followed by three minutes of rest.
✅ Example: Rowing hard on the roll machine for one minute, followed by three minutes of moderate to easy pace.
✅ This will maximize your workout time and increase your aerobic threshold.
