TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT // Meet Shawn
Shawn graduated from West Kentucky Community and Technical College with his Associate’s degree in Applied Science and Culinary Arts with American Culinary Federation (ACF) Certification. Shawn went on to work in many restaurants in Kentucky before moving back home and working as a Sous Chef for the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. In March 2021, Shawn will celebrate his third anniversary as Sous Chef with Crowne Plaza Lansing West and Bordeaux - Wine Food Spirits.
Shawn is excited to welcome everyone back for indoor dining today. Shawn has used the extra time during the Covid-19 pandemic to work on new recipes, sharpen his culinary skills, and participate in trainings committed to keeping our guests safe while dining. He participated in the ServSafe Reopening Guidance: Covid-19 Precautions session and is ready to safely prepare delicious meals for our guests.
