On the shores of Lake Union and across the water from downtown Seattle, Gas Works Park was built on the location of a former coal gasification plant. This 19-acre park is a conglomeration of industrial towers, stacks, pipes and sheds just waiting for you to explore. They even have a kid’s play area. And though it is currently located outside of MoPop, it has had a couple different homes in Seattle over the years.
