Here was a water lone replacement due to busted underground water line. We replaced 60 foot of water line, got the backhoe stuck in a hole, and had a battle with 6-8 inch tree roots. But we got it done and the homeowners are happy.

Call us today to schedule your fall furnace and or generator maintenance! (740)225-4495
This is a melted heat exchanger and a plugged secondary heat exchanger. Furnace ruined due to being grossly oversized, no filter, and lack of maintenance. Just another example of how important it is to hire the right professional for the job. This furnace should have never been installed, but routine maintenance performed by a qualified professional would have caught this potential fatal disaster.

Some jobs can be a little tricky, but our skilled technicians are great with creative solutions. This furnace was too large to fit through the doorway of where it needed to be installed. So, what do you do in this situation. You make it fit... by disassembling the entire unit, bringing it in piece by piece, then reassemble again. This type of job can be very tedious and time consuming, but also very rewarding!

Furnace and or air conditioner old and or not working? Now is the time for replacement. Call CRT to schedule your estimate today. (740)225-4495
Even though temps have dropped a bit, now is the best time to replace your old equipment. Winter is on its way and you’ll want to be ready. This American Standard furnace replaced an old Lennox Pulse furnace which are notorious for heat exchanger problems due to high harmonics that put extra stress on the metals. But those units also paved the way for high efficiency units now!
Daylight savings time ends this weekend. It's a perfect time to change your air filter and batteries in your safety devices.
While it’s the time of the year for glowing pumpkins, CRT does the “glowing pickle” experiment. A dill pickle is used to conduct electricity when voltage is applied. You’ll notice an orange glow and that’s associated with sodium emission. In this demonstration the high concentration of sodium chloride in the pickle (salty flavor) serves as a sufficient electrolyte solution to conduct electricity. Once the variac is turned on, arcing will occur in the pickle and after a short time an orange glow will be observed. This orange color is a result of a 3p → 3s emission from Na atoms inside the pickle. This can be compared to a standard sodium flame test to reveal the source of glow inside the pickle. Don’t try this at home kids and if you do, don’t eat the pickle afterwards.. Enjoy!
Here’s an American Standard gas heat air conditioner package unit, which basically is a commercial rooftop unit that was installed on the ground.
This furnace and air conditioner replacement was a neat install due to the rooftop condenser. Unique problems take creative solutions!
This furnace and water heater replacement was one of the last installations of 2020! Be safe out there and we’ll see you next year!
This week Santa picked Chappys Hydraulics LLC
Here’s an old equipment boiler upgrade to a modern unit. While the previous boiler was on its last leg, this new system will be much more efficient and of course reliable.
We’ve been busy trying to wrap up some projects before the end of the year. Here’s one project that we did the underground plumbing for Montgomery Township. Doesn’t Justin look so happy?!

This was an interesting job. This customer was having heating issues and thought it was thermostat related. After some investigation, we found the furnace exhaust line was broken which was holding condensation. After the line was too full to hold any more condensation, it began to leak out into the ceiling below. We are proud to say that after 4 roofers, 3 furnaces, and 3 different HVAC companies, CRT was able to find and correct the problem!
You might think this coil is clean; it looks clean, but it is far from it. Looks can be deceiving, in fact, this coil is completely plugged with dirt and debris from not using an air filter. We want to stress the importance of not only using a filter, but using the correct filter with regular replacements.
Brrrrr, it’s cold outside! Are you experiencing furnace issues? Just call CRT! We have appointments available today! (740)225-4495
Have you ever had well water that tastes or smells bad? You can blame that on sulfur. Sulfur is found in many foods and is considered a vital part of a healthy diet, but too much sulfur in your drinking water can be harmful to your health and can cause diarrhea and dehydration. Sulfur not only stinks and makes your water taste bad, it can also stain your sinks, tub, toilets, clothing, and even damage plumbing. That was the case with this job. Years of untreated water ruined the existing plumbing that had to be replaced. These customers will be really happy with their investment as we replaced and relocated copper water lines, water heater, and pressure tank and Peacock Water installed a new water treatment system.
