Emergencies happen, and #CRW Engineering Group is proud to have helped the Municipality of Anchorage with this fast-tracked project under Northern Lights Boulevard near UAA Drive. The team replaced failing culverts to keep the traffic flowing and fish swimming in the South Fork of Chester Creek. Granite Construction worked day and night to finish ahead of schedule.

We had the League Cycling Instructor 3-day Seminar this weekend, this certification is provided by The League of American Bicyclists.
The group of 8 candidates was lucky enough to have Rio Oxas, as their coach, Bike Anchorage could not have asked for a better coach.
The weekend went by smoothly thanks to the already LCI’s Brian Looney from @crwengineering and former Bike Anchorage Director Pierce Schwalb who assisted the coach on the second day.
Now Anchorage has 8 new Certified Cycling Instructors to teach others how to ride safely, how to become more confident riders, and to help all of those hesitant of riding around town become cyclists. They are ready to build a safer and bigger cycling community!

Social distancing protocols were in effect at our "Take a #Bike Ride" feed station yesterday. The #CReW enjoyed serving treats to cyclists of all ages!
Tomorrow is "Take a #Bike Ride" day in Anchorage and the #CReW is ready! Our treat station at Pine Street and 7th Avenue (near the Polar Bear Playground) will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with pre-packaged tasty treats and beverages.
#COVID-19 safety precautions will be in place, including the use of hand sanitizer, mask and glove wearing, and following social distancing guidelines.
#CRW chose this spot on the “Moose Loop” due to our work with Pine Street's new buffered bike lanes, the first in town (pictured). CRW designed the upgrades as part of an Anchorage Metropolitan Area Transportation Solutions (AMATS) project.

#CRW is proud of our American Nordic skiers who are doing so well at the World Cup ski races in Davos, Switzerland. Hailey Swirbul earned her first podium finish in the 10k Freestyle race on Sunday. Hailey is also an aspiring engineer; she received one of CRW’s Willy Van Hemert Engineering Scholarships last year.
