Dr. Crystal Tallman received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. As an osteopathic physician her medical school training emphasized the philosophy of treating the patient as a whole, while focusing on preventive medicine. After medical school, she completed a traditional rotating internship at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadows, New York in 2012. She then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York in 2016. She is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is licensed by the state of Texas and is an active member of The Woman?s Hospital of Texas. Professional organization memberships include American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Harris County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association and the Houston Gynecological and Obstetrics Society. Dr. Tallman?s areas of focus include well woman exams, contraceptive options, normal and high risk pregnancies and abnormal uterine bleeding. She is fluent in Spanish and Hungarian, enjoys spending time in nature with her husband and young son and enjoys traveling. Voluntary service work has included a medical mission trip to Guatemala and Dr. Tallman is devoted to the well-being of all women.
