I never saw myself helping with the Covid testing efforts, but here I am, several months into it and more experienced than I imagined. It has been particularly tough organizing and administering tests through this pandemic, but I am so thankful to be one of the pharmacies who can offer this. After working in Long-Term Care and Hospital Pharmacy, I felt I was missing one of the most important reasons why I went to school to become a pharmacist: patient interaction. I’ve only been working at CureMed Pharmacy for three weeks, but I’ve already enjoyed so many rewarding moments with our clients. The COVID-19 testing is hard work for our pharmacy, but I’m so grateful that we can provide this service for the public. I love doing my part to help prevent the spread of the virus; I believe it’s my duty as a healthcare professional. Outside of being a pharmacist, I love spending time outdoors, cooking, going on hikes, and spending time with my dog Jaxson.
